Our “Pistol Fundamentals” class is designed to establish solid marksmanship fundamentals in students. We focus on setting shooters on the path to high-level performance, emphasizing both speed and accuracy. Our approach is consistent across all skill levels: fundamentals are the same whether you’re a beginner or an elite shooter! The difference lies in the level of execution. We’ll provide you with a robust foundation to build upon, and correct any bad habits you may have picked up.

Price:  $150.00 per student. A $50.00 deposit (non-refundable*) is due at the time of registration.

Goal: Develop a solid understanding of shooting fundamentals, both with live and dry fire. By the course conclusion, expect improvement in marksmanship, and more importantly, you’ll leave the class knowing how to practice on your own efficiently.

Class Instruction Includes:

• Stance
• Grip
• Vision (Sight Picture/Target Focus)
• Trigger Control
• Shooting Drills
• Practical Shooting Stage

Location: Morgan County Rifle Range 870 E Mahogany Ridge Rd — Morgan, Utah

Pre-requisites: Anyone who can display safe firearm handling throughout the course.

Required Equipment:

• Handgun
• 250 rounds of reliable ammunition
• Sturdy belt
• Handgun holster (no leather, no cross-draw, no SERPA)
• 2 magazines (more is better!)
  
• Eye and Ear Protection (preferably electronic)
• Seasonal weather gear (i.e. rain, cold).

Class Size:

Maximum of 8 students per class (2 instructors).

We love running small classes. With two instructors, we can better assist students in correcting deficiencies and spend more time explaining key principles. This also allows students to go though dynamic drills/stages more times during the course.
